Der wahre Fall des KGB-Agent, der jahrelang für die Briten spioniert hat, wird in genau recherchierten Details geschildert, sachkundig und bestens lesbar präsentiert, mit authentischen Fotos bebildert. Und obwohl man von Anfang an weiß, dass der Verräter letztendlich heil entkommt, zählt die Geschichte seiner Entdeckung und seiner Flucht aus Moskau zu den spannendsten Geschichten, die ich seit langem gelesen hab. Insgesamt die perfekte Ergänzung zu den Spionageromanen etwa von John le Carrée!
This is the only book of the last 10 years I read entirely in a single day. A very moving and exciting true account, told with wit. Impossible to stop reading. Incredible piece of writing befitting of its subject. I think about all those who did not live to tell of their bravery.
